Adenovirus Quantitation / Titer
Traditionally adenoviral titer has been measured by plaque forming assays (PFU) which can take up to 10 days, making it tempting to skip this very important step in your viral gene delivery studies.
Our Adenovirus Quantitation & Titer kits will save you time and money and speed you on your way to expression results. Our Functional Titer kits provide the same accurate results as PFU assays, with even lower inter-asssay variability, in about 2-3 days. Functional Titer kits are available in two formats:
- Our Functional Titer Immunoassay Kit uses immunocytochemistry staining of cells in a 24-well plate.
- Our Functional Titer ELISA Kit measures adenoviral titer in infected cells by measuring against a standard curve generated by a provided ß-galactosidase adenovirus.
If measuring the physical titer (VP/mL) of your adenovirus is sufficient, consider our even faster Adenovirus Rapid Quantitation Kit. Quantify your virus in one hour or less in a fluorescence plate reader.
