Adenoviral Expression and Packaging

Adenovirus is a popular tool for gene delivery due to its ease of infecting a wide variety of cells, but packaging a recombinant adenovirus with traditional methods can be tedious and take up to 3 months. Our RAPAd® Adenoviral Expression Systems reduce packaging time to 2-3 weeks, while reducing the number of wild type viruses generated.

Our 293AD cells are derived from the 293 cell line and are specially selected for firmer attachment and larger surface area for greater yields of recombinant adenovirus. 293AD cells are perfect for both adenoviral packaging and adenoviral amplification.
